Mentoring is the answer because the data show that it helps immigrant and refugee youth overcome the core challenges that they face and allows them to thrive. And when immigrants thrive, America thrives.

Immigrant and Refugee Youth enter new countries with an incredible amount of optimism. In fact, in their first year in America, they outperform their American born peers in academic and positive behavior measures.  However, the professional literature shows that within five years this optimism becomes significantly diminished and this impacts all aspects of their well-being.

Mentoring is the answer.
